The Return – By John Di Stefano John Di Stefano is a visual artist, videomaker, writer, and curator. His show The Return revisits images from his family archive as a means of evoking a reconnection with physical and psychic spaces of the past. The archive is employed as a means of re-reading and retracing pivotal events in order to uncover hidden or forgotten meaning and memories. These works also attempt to queer the complex relationships in traditional ideas of home.The installation is accompanied by a video You Are Here. A book entitled Unfold will be published in partnership with the gallery for the occasion of the exhibition. |
