All participants are required to register for the conference. Registration can be done online.
Outgames Participation Fee
In addition to the conference fee all participants are required to register as an Outgames participant and pay the Outgames participation fee. The early-bird option closes on 31 October. Registration and payment of the Outgames participation fee can be done separately from the conference registration.
Conference Registration Options
Full Conference: Attendance at all three days of the conference. Fee includes: Conference programme, entry to all conference sessions, all morning and afternoon teas and lunches
Day Registration: Attendance at one day of the conference. Fee includes: Conference programme, entry to conference sessions, morning and afternoon teas and lunch for the nominated day.
Due to the conference venue size, registrations for this conference are limited. Priority will be given to those who register for the 3 days of the conference. Day registration is not available until 1 December 2010.
Early-bird option: The Early-bird conference fee applies to all registrations up to 30 November 2010. From 1 December 2010 the full registration fee will apply.
To ensure that conference is accessible to as many people as possible there is a three tier fee structure:
Tier 1: For those representing non voluntary organisations or individuals with an income of more than NZD$55 000 pa (USD 37 000)
Tier 2 For those representing voluntary organisations or individuals with an income of between NZD$25,000 and $50 000 pa (USD 17 000 - 37 000)
Tier 3 For individuals with an income of less than NZD$25 000 pa (USD17 000)

Participant Prices
The Participation Fee is paid by all entrants to the 2nd AsiaPacific Outgames. This fee provides you with entry to the opening and closing ceremonies and accreditation.
The Supporters Fee is available to all partners, family and friends of those participating. This fee lets you spectate at almost all our sporting events and provides you with entry to the opening and closing ceremonies.

Conference Fees
You get a further month of Earlybird pricing for the Conference, so by registering by 30 November 2010, you will save between 20% to 23% on the standard price of your conference fee!

Cancellation and Refund Policy
The conference registration fee will be refunded with a $50.00 deduction, provided that written notice is received before 1 February 2011. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date, although name substitutions will be accepted up to 1 March 2011. Refund payments will be made after the Conference.
Conference Registration scholarships
There are a limited number of registration scholarships available for people wishing to attend the conference. Scholarships cover the Full Conference registration fee. Applications are particularly encouraged from people living in the Pacific Islands and Asia, and young people.
Applications for conference scholarships close on 30 November 2010
To apply for a scholarship, applicants should contact the organizers. The application should outline
• your background experience in human rights or community action with LGBTI people
• what you hope to get from attending the conference
• your ability to implement learnings from the attendance at the conference in your work for the betterment of GLBTI peoples
There is no funding available for travel or accommodation but the organizers may be able to assist in finding local people willing to host conference attendees in their homes for the duration of the conference. Contact the Conference Convenor for further information.
Scholarship Fund
Participants are invited to make a contribution to the scholarship fund to assist people to attend the conference. A donation can be made during the online registration process.
Special Requirements
During the registration process, please indicate if you have any special dietary or other requirements that organisers need to consider in their planning for the conference.
The venue is wheel chair accessible. A sign language interpreter has been provisionally booked - let us know if you need them or if you have any additional disability access requirements.
Indication of Attendance in conference streams
During the registration process you will be asked to indicate your level of likelihood to attend each conference stream. You are able to attend more than one stream over the 3 days of the conference. N.B. This does not commit you to attending this stream but assists us to identify the level of interest for each stream and in logistical planning e.g. room allocation.
